Claudio Bravo isn’t a Manchester City player… yet.
That’s the message Sport on Friday are trying to get across in their printed edition, as they make it clear the goalkeeper hasn’t travelled to England so far, but is expected to complete his transfer in the near future.
According to the Catalan newspaper, the player is still training with the first-team squad, even though he knows he’ll probably sign for Pep Guardiola’s side, where he’ll be able to play regular Champions League football.
Sport say ‘everything points to Saturday’s game against Betis being his last in a Barcelona jersey’, at least according to Barcelona’s director of football Robert Fernandez.
As we all know, Joe Hart’s future as Manchester City’s number one goalkeeper has been put in major doubt by the club’s new manager, and his presence on the bench in all official games so far suggests his time at the club could be coming to an end.
The arrival of Claudio Bravo would most likely be the final nail in the coffin.
