It’s been a couple of months since we last had news on the future of Allianza Lima youngster Kluiverth Aguillar.

Following all the stories on Manchester City’s efforts to sign him back in January, things went quiet after the agreement was made official, as the player can’t move until he turns 18-years-of-age.

Well, with his birthday taking place in May, he’s soon allowed to get on a plane to Europe, and it now looks like England won’t be his first stop.

According to Peruvian outlet RPP Notícias, Manchester City have sent a ‘formal invite’ for Kluiverth Aguilar to go to Belgium and start training with Lommel on Friday.

The Premier League side reportedly want him having some experience with their partner club for one month.

Allianza Lima, however, will fight to keep the player until June, as previously agreed. It’s said a decision could be taken today.

The Peruvian side expected the teenager to continue playing for them until the date of the move. Despite being only 17, Aguilar has been featuring regularly in the local league and Copa Libertadores.

Manchester City reportedly paid €2.5m for the transfer.
