Despite all the claims linking Manchester City star Leroy Sane to a return to Germany, the Italian media comes up with a different version of the story today.

Website Calcio Mercato first takes claims from Bild which said that the player’s entourage has met Bayern Munich to negotiate a summer move.

But according to the Italian outlet’s sources, Sane isn’t that keen on returning to his home country.

It’s said the winger is more interested in other destinations, such as Barcelona, who have already shown their will to sign him.

We wouldn’t expect Calcio Mercato to finish their story without naming a Serie A side in the race. And that’s exactly what they do, claiming that Juventus are another club who like the player.

It’s said that it shouldn’t be easy to get Sane in the next transfer window, though.

That’s because the Coronavirus crisis will stop clubs from making crazy moves, and considering that Manchester City are demanding at least €100m for the player, it becomes unlikely that someone will spend that much on him.
