Man City ‘most interested’ in player – Guardiola’s side have financial edge over competition for signing

Two days ago, reports coming out of Spain stated Barcelona are joined by Manchester City and Real Madrid in chasing Erling Haaland.

Last weekend, De Telegraaf stated a Barca delegation, led by president Joan Laporta, met Mino Raiola in Monaco, to discuss the Borussia Dortmund star. Latest reports have indicated the Citizens director of football, Txiki Begiristain, also held talks with the super-agent regarding the striker.

Claims made elsewhere about the Catalan club and the English champions’ meeting Raiola are relayed by Mundo Deportivo, who then provide their own information on this case.

Regarding Real Madrid, it’s said they will aim ‘all their efforts’ at signing Kylian Mbappé in the summer.

Los Blancos focusing on the current Paris Saint-Germain forward leaves Barca and City as the ‘most interested’ clubs in Haaland. The Norwegian is ‘increasingly disenchanted’ at BVB, following their elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Rangers.

Journalist Gabriel Sans brings another update on the Dortmund goalscorer and his future. He says reports in Germany are placing him at Real Madrid, while those in England are stating the player will join Pep Guardiola’s side.
