Sporting had a title party in Lisbon this Monday to celebrate the Portuguese Cup they won against Porto over the weekend.

During the celebration, Bruno Fernandes’ name was chanted several times. Fans were asking him to stay for longer, but he couldn’t really promise them that.

“I spent two intense years here, I don’t know if I’m going to leave, I don’t know the future”, the midfielder told Sporting TV.

Record has a story about it today, and writes that Manchester City are the ‘best positioned’ club to sign Fernandes. They claim that Sporting demand an amount of €70m to let him go.

Correio da Manhã also covered the party, but they don’t give Pep Guardiola’s side an advantage in the race for the Sporting star.

They say both Manchester City and Manchester United are fighting for him, and all the Lions have for now is a bid of €55m.

Although they don’t say whose bid it is, it has been previously reported that it was City who made the first offer, with United expected to outbid them in the near future.
