Manchester City have reportedly contacted Torino in order to know more information about Bruno Peres. The right-back would be a request from Pep Guardiola as the manager keeps looking for new additions for the squad.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, in their Wednesday edition, Guardiola wants two centre-backs, two fullbacks, a midfielder, a winger and a centre-forward.
Not much, is it? But you don’t ask if you don’t get and Guardiola will think he has a big job to do.
The story says the manager wants an offensive right-back and Bruno Peres fits his game plan. However, there would be many other interested sides and the transfer would cost around €12m.
Guardiola’s first option for the position would be Šime Vrsaljko, who ended up signing for Atletico Madrid.
Sport says that City have also made an approach for the left-back Ricardo Rodríguez, but Wolfsburg asked for €35m for the player, which is considered to be too much. There’s been disagreement over the Wolfsburg player’s buyout clause, with Arsenal also said to be interested.
