Manchester City have seriously joined the race for Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to reports from Spain today.

Cadena Ser says that Pep Guardiola’s side are willing to bring young talents to the club, and seem ready to make a strong investment on the 20-year-old.

Torres’ contract with Valencia expires next year, and since he’s not negotiating a new deal with the La Liga side, they may feel forced to sell him this summer.

It’s said Manchester City see Torres as the replacement for Leroy Sané, who’s leaving the Premier League side to join Bayern Munich.

Cadena Ser makes it clear that Manchester City aren’t the only club who are interested in Torres. It’s said that Valencia have been receiving calls from Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, Liverpool, Manchester United and others since the beginning of 2020.

The outlet doesn’t say how much would Valencia demand for the youngster, but the huge competition shows he won’t be a cheap signing.
