Sandro Tonali is one of the brightest youngsters in Italy at the moment and has continued to impress with his displays this campaign after playing a vital role in Brescia’s promotion to Serie A.
For over a month, we have covered stories about Premier League interest in the midfielder, with Manchester United and Manchester City reportedly chasing the 19-year-old.
Apart from the two English sides, there are clubs in Italy and across Europe interested in the teenager, who’s contracted to the Italian club until 2021. They have an option to further extend it by a year.
According to Calciomercato, the domestic treble winners continue to monitor Tonali and Manchester City sent their scouts to watch the player ‘up close’ when Brescia hosted Fiorentina at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti in the last league tie.
Tonali played the full 90 minutes and was one of the best players in the goalless draw. Paris Saint-Germain scouts were also in attendance to watch him in action.
