Bresica midfielder Sandro Tonali’s emergence in Serie A saw him being linked with clubs across Europe, including from the Premier League, during the first few months of this season.

TuttoMercatoWeb reported in February that Manchester City and Chelsea will be involved in an ‘international auction’ for the 19-year-old.

It was also explained Pep Guardiola knows ‘Bresica and Tonali very well’, which is why the Premier League winners are actively chasing the teenager.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport has an update on Tonali and they mention the English champions.

Apart from City, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germian are also chasing the Italy international.

Juve chief Fabio Paratici remembers how PSG beat the Old Lady to signing Marco Verratti from Pescara in 2012.

The Paris based club paid €12m for the midfielder and it looked like a lot of money back then. However, Verratti has proved to be a good investment in the long run.

Whether the Turin club will outbid competition from City and PSG to acquire Tonali’s services still isn’t clear.

He has one goal and five assists in 23 league appearances this season.
