Luton Town have made multiple signings in the January transfer window so far.
Despite that, Matt Bloomfield’s side are struggling in the Championship and do not have a single win in their last eight league games.
Something needs to change quickly and it can now arrive in the form of a new signing. The player in question is Tromso striker Lasse Nordas, who is nearing a move to Luton Town.
Italian outlet La Nuova Sardegna have reported, as relayed by TuttoCagliari, that the Hatters have put forward a four-year deal to the 22-year-old and are way ahead of the chasing pack in the race.
Cagliari were also an interested party and it seems as if they have admitted defeat. Unless they do not make any major last minute bids, Nordas will join Luton Town on deadline day.
The striker scored nine goals in the 2024 season of the Eliteserien for Tromso and had also found the back of the net once in two UEFA Conference League qualifying games.
