Manchester City youngster Issa Kaboré is close to joining newly promoted Luton Town on loan for the season.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the deal is dependent on the 22-year-old sanctioning the move personally.
Kaboré has enjoyed a string of loans since joining Manchester City in 2020, moving to Mechelen in Belgium, Troyes and then Marseille.
He is not a part of Manchester City’s plans for next season either and so could now be set to join Luton on yet another loan deal.
They’re looking to bolster their squad after securing promotion to the Premier League and it seems they’re looking at Kaboré as a new option for the right-back spot.
He is ‘yet to confirm his choice’ after returning from his loan spell at Marseille, where he managed 29 games in total last season.
He’s never played a game for Manchester City and that isn’t likely to change this year, but it seems he is as yet undecided whether to head to Luton or wait and see if there are other offers available to him.
