Juventus may face serious difficulties signing Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa, but they still seem focused on that transfer mission.
CalcioMercato.it now features a fresh story claiming that even though the price is high, the Old Lady ‘have not given up’ their chase.
Aston Villa are said to be demanding €60m for the sale. To find a solution for that issue, Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is in direct talks with agent Kia Joorabchian.
It’s said the representative has given an ‘important opening’ to the possibility of a switch to the Bianconeri, and they now discuss the chances of a deal.
As reported by the Italian media on Tuesday morning, there could be a chance for Weston McKennie to be involved in this transfer by going to Aston Villa.
The problem, however, is that the US international is only valued at €30m (which seems high if Luiz is €60m), so there’s still a big difference to closed.
It’s now up to Juventus and Joorabchian to find a solution, which, in other words, is actually paying for the transfer they want so badly.
