Following Bill Foley’s acquisition of a chunk of FC Lorient and AFC Bournemouth, there have been a few deals put together between the two sides.
The most notable one is that for Dango Ouattara, who appears to be on his way to the Vitality Stadium for €27.5m, although that has yet to be made official.
He isn’t the only one who could swap Brittany for Bournemouth, as Ouest-France back up the claim that the two sides have found a ‘common ground’ for Enzo Le Fée.
The young midfielder has been in fine form for the Ligue 1 side, but the newspaper explain he ‘doesn’t see himself going to the English club’.
He previously stated that he wanted to finish the season with Lorient, even when faced with interest from other French clubs such as Rennes, Monaco and Nice, and that appears to include Bournemouth as well.
We will now have to wait and see if the new owners in the south of England will try and convince him otherwise, but it’s clear Foley and co. are trying to make the best of this new partnership, if you will.
