Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sasa Kalajdzic is set to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan, with his agent confirming “it looks good”.
That’s according to Hessenschau, who have spoken to the player’s agent, Sascha Empacher, directly regarding the move.
They report that Frankfurt are ‘close to signing’ Kalajdzic on loan from Wolves until the end of the season.
The plan is for the Austrian to provide cover for Wolves tonight as they take on Brentford in the FA Cup, before then flying to Frankfurt ‘as soon as possible’ so that he can be an option for Frankfurt when they take on RB Leipzig next week.
The 26-year-old is yet to complete a medical check for Eintracht, but the plan is for him to move on loan initially, with it currently unknown whether director of football Markus Krösche has negotiated a purchase option in the deal.
Either way, a deal seems to be progressing quickly, with his agent confirming to the outlet that “it looks good” when asked about the impending deal.
He may not be the only arrival at the Bundesliga club this month, but it appears their focus is on him for now and he could be flying from Wolves to complete his move imminently.
