Having suffered a knee injury at the start of this year, Japhet Tanganga has regained full fitness and has made it to the Tottenham Hotspur squad for their pre-season trip to South Korea.

The 23-year-old wants to enjoy more game time next season and that may be difficult at the north London club, especially after the arrival of Clément Lenglet.

A move away from Tottenham could be on the cards for the defender after AC Milan came forward to sign him this summer.

Tanganga’s agent made a trip to Italy last week to reportedly hold talks with the Serie A winners. On July 14th, Calciomercato stated the Rossoneri reconnected with the player’s representative on Wednesday over a potential move for his client.

Italian agent Filippo Colasanto collaborates with the agency that manages Antonio Conte’s man. TuttoMercatoWeb’s TMW Radio interviewed Colasanto and specifically asked him about the reports linking Tanganga to Milan.

Responding to that, he said: “Tanganga is managed by an English agency with whom I collaborate. He is a player who hasn’t found much space but is physically very resilient and has gained some experience.

“I think that if I were the footballer, seeing that I don’t find space in England, I would look for other shores. At Milan, however, he would still find a great deal of competition.”
