Two days ago, we covered claims from Italy that Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and a few other clubs are keen on Tammy Abraham. It was also said AS Roma want €30m to part ways with him in the summer window.
Il Messaggero say ‘London is calling’ the striker, where Tottenham and West Ham are in the picture to sign him.
They add the market will decide whether the 26-year-old will stay or join another club.
Abraham’s deal lasts until 2026 and if Roma were keen to keep him they would have started renewal talks.
The Italian club value the former Chelsea man at €30m, but they could close his sale for €22-25m, considering there’s still €16m of his transfer fee to be amortised. Tottenham and West Ham are among the clubs ‘thinking about him’.
Spurs and Julen Lopetegui’s side are looking to bolster their attack, and Abraham could be an option they could consider. As well as Tottenham and the Hammers, Aston Villa and Everton are chasing him.
It needs to be seen whether Ange Postecoglou’s side, West Ham or another club will take further steps to sign Abraham in the upcoming window.
