Arsenal are thought to be in the market for a forward this summer, and that’s seen them linked with multiple options across Europe.
Victor Osimhen is one of the more obvious targets, but it’s long been thought that Napoli’s asking price, which currently stands at his €130m clause, would exclude the Gunners from any race.
PSG are continually linked, although it seems like Osimhen has been holding out for the Premier League. From there, according to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal ‘resurface’.
That €130m is causing clubs to think twice, and there’s every chance Napoli will need to come down from that figure. Interestingly, Corriere dello Sport present a route for Arsenal to get a deal done.
It’s suggested the Gunners could use some of their own players as part payment, and the newspaper claims Napoli like several in the Arsenal squad, including Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
