Andrei Ionuț Radu is reportedly no longer in Genoa’s plans after they completed the signing of Mattia Perin on loan from Juventus.
The Inter Milan owned keeper kept two clean sheets and conceded 35 goals in 17 league games this season, but that’s not stopped him from drawing attention from elsewhere.
Over the weekend, we carried a report from FcInterNews, who stated West Ham United and Arsenal have conducted surveys for the 22-year-old.
It was also suggested the two London clubs would be ready to invest in the player, but wouldn’t be interested in signing him on a loan deal.
Local newspaper Il Secolo XIX brings an update on Genoa’s transfer business and at the end of their report, there’s a short update about Radu and the Hammers.
With the goalkeeper set to return to San Siro, it’s claimed the ‘hypothesis’ of joining David Moyes’ side is ‘growing’. Interestingly, there’s no mention of the Gunners in Il Secolo XIX’s report.
It remains to be seen whether or not West Ham will make an offer for Radu in January.
