Let’s get to this straight away, Mario Balotelli has been offered the chance to play for Sarnese. The non-professional team playing in the Serie D believe they could help Balotelli to revive his career.
Sarnese’s president, Francesco Origo, has made an appeal to Mario Balotelli to join them this summer. Origo’s appeal to Balotelli has been covered by Sky Sports Italy’s website.
He said: “Dear Balotelli, Sarnese offers you a chance to start again from amateur football and prove once and for all that you are a true champion: from Sarno the chance to remember the pure values, sacrifice, fair play and the spirit of team.
“We can awaken your football skills and reassess your image as a great sportsman, come play in Sarno, please come.”
That’s not it. Origo explains how Sarnese won the fair play award, and give youth a chance at the club.
He added: “We believe that Mario Balotelli should start from amateur football in a club like Polisportiva Sarnese, it can be a unique opportunity.
“Our club in fact last season won the ‘Fair Play’ award of their group and also the ‘Youth Award.
“For this reason we have decided to focus on a young champion from priceless and precious qualities like Mario Balotelli, if you would accept our challenge: a champion in the field but that perhaps, at this stage of his career, he needs to remind himself and others, the importance of the values of football, even outside of the pitch.”
Liverpool have been struggling to find a new club for Balotelli, and it seems some help has been offered to them.
