There’s apparently a big battle going on for Barcelona midfielder Rafael Alcântara.

As reported by Mundo Deportivo today, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all interested in the Brazilian, along with Italian sides Inter and AC Milan.

Liverpool are the only club with an offer being reported, as the outlet claims the Reds would be willing to pay something between €30m and €40m, an amount which could convince the Catalan side to sell.

All the other clubs made contacts to get aware of the situation, with Arsenal and Tottenham getting mentions for asking more than once.

Although Rafinha is focused on recovering from his knee injury, Mundo Deportivo make it clear that his stay at Barça isn’t guaranteed. He would like to have more minutes to convince Brazilian manager Tite he deserves a place at the World Cup, and the midfield competition at the Catalan side is the reason he recently said his future is open.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked repeatedly, but it’s always seemed forced, whereas Tottenham have, in comparison, hardly been linked at all.
