Thorgan Hazard has been in fine form for Borussia Monchengladbach this season, scoring nine goals and registering six assists in 17 league appearances this season.
It’s no surprise that his impressive displays have seen him attract interest from clubs across the continent and this includes the likes of AS Roma, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, if reports from Italy are to believed.
According to Calciomercato, the Belgium international is not planning to extend his contract with the Bundesliga outfit, which will run down in 2020 and has a valuation of €35m.
Since there is competition for the signature, the Serie A outfit’s sporting director Monchi is planning to secure the 25-year-old’s signing in January and bring him to the club next summer.
It’s claimed Liverpool have the same plan, where they want to agree a deal with Monchengladbach for Hazard and allow him to continue with the German side until the end of the season.
If Calciomercato’s report is true, it should be seen as to who will be successful in landing the Monchengladbach star.
