On March 14th, Bild reported Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are in the picture for Omar Marmoush. It was also stated the Eintracht Frankfurt player ‘dreams’ of making a switch to the Premier League.
Later that month, SportBild explained that the German club have assumed that Spurs and others will table a bid for the striker at some point.
A fresh report from Bild now talks about Liverpool and Tottenham’s interest in the 25-year-old who has excelled this season.
Having joined the Bundesliga side on a free transfer last summer, the Egypt international has scored 16 goals and registered six assists from 38 games this season.
This has helped him end up on the list of top clubs, and only Liverpool and Tottenham are named in the report, as these two clubs are ‘showing interest’ in signing the frontman.
Marmoush’s deal lasts until 2027 and his employer don’t intend to part ways with him at the end of this season. The report adds Eintracht Frankfurt are ‘only willing to talk’ about his sale if there’s an offer of around €50m.
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche has identified Royale Union Saint-Gilloise star Mohamed Amoura as a candidate to replace Marmoush, if the latter were to leave in the next window.
