Liverpool’s Stefan Bajčetić has been on loan at Red Bull Salzburg since last summer and made 19 appearances for them so far.

UD Las Palmas, Celta Vigo, Getafe, Real Betis, FC Porto have all shown keen interest in him for the winter market.

On Thursday, Canarias 7 reported Las Palmas sporting director Luis Helguera has stepped up the negotiations with Liverpool for the 20-year-old. It was also stated the Reds favour sending him to the La Liga club over other suitors.

The midfielder has decided to join the Spanish club in this window and accepts their offer.

That’s according to Friday’s edition of Marca, who report Las Palmas have ‘closed an agreement’ with Liverpool to sign Bajčetić on a dry loan deal until the end of this season.

The newspaper adds Bajčetić’s transfer to the Spanish club will be made official between today and tomorrow. Las Palmas will cover the Spain U21 international’s full salary during his temporary stay.

Bajčetić has picked Las Palmas over clubs like Getafe, Real Valladolid Porto and others. The Liverpool man has to travel to sign the loan contract with his new club.
