Liverpool have showed interest in Juventus’ Federico Chiesa and Il Giornale stated in October that the Reds tabled a bid between ‘€80m and €100m’ a ‘couple of months ago’.

The Old Lady took the winger on a two-year loan deal from Fiorentina in 2019 and his stay will be made permanent at the end of this season.

At the weekend, the Italy international played the full 90 minutes in his side’s 1-0 win over La Viola .

With Chiesa approached by the Merseyside club, Calciomercato.it say it ‘cannot be ruled out’ the Premier League scouts watched Chiesa in action against his former club on Saturday.

The Reds had their officials in attendance at the Juventus Stadium. It’s claimed Liverpool scouts were watching the tie between Juve and Fiorentina, with ‘particular attention evidently given’ to Dušan Vlahović.

Apart from Liverpool, scouts from Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United also watched the Serbia international feature against the Turin club.

Juventus have an interest in La Viola’s striker, but now face ‘danger’ from England, with several Premier League sides sending their scouts to monitor Vlahović.
