On May 27th, Tuttosport said Liverpool are planning to sign Atalanta star Éderson. It was also stated that the midfielder bewitched the Reds when they faced the Italian club twice in the Europa League earlier this year.
Earlier this week, the 24-year-old told AS that he’s “curious” about the Premier League, and left the future in the hands of his agent. Éderson also stated that he’s not sure if he will continue at the Serie A side.
Tutto Atalanta say the Liverpool target’s latest admission hasn’t gone down well at the Italian club.
It’s claimed the Brazilian isn’t on the market, but the Europa League winners are ready to sell him this summer if there’s an ‘off-market’ proposal. There’s no mention of the fee or the range that’s needed to convince Atalanta.
Liverpool get a mention as they like the South American. In fact, the report explains that the Reds would be ‘preparing an offer’ of €45m, to find out whether it’s enough to take him away from Atalanta.
Gian Piero Gasperini’s side will have to make a decision if the Merseyside club were to table a €45m bid.
