A month ago, we covered claims from Calciomercato, who explained that Liverpool have been showing big ‘insistence’ over signing Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski.
It was further explained the Reds have made several phone calls to the midfielder’s representative.
Napoli Magazine journalist Emanuele Cammaroto brings the latest update on the Merseyside club’s interest in the Poland international, and it’s relayed by CalcioNapoli24.
He claims a well-known intermediary would be ready to bring in an offer from England for the 24-year-old and it is set to be from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It’s stated the offer from the Premier League club will be around €60m as Liverpool prepare an ‘assault’ on the player.
Zielinski will still have two years left on his contract contract with the Serie A club in the summer and even though Napoli value him at €70m, Carlo Ancelotti’s side will reflect on the English side’s proposal, explains Cammaroto.
He’s scored five goals and registered two assists in 30 league appearances this season.
Liverpool will be linked to Zielinski until he retires, the Italian media love the rumour.
