Since it was reported that Roberto Firmino would be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, Corinthians fans got hopeful that he could be joining the club.
That happens because the striker once claimed he’s a fan, but the truth is that there were never any stories claiming they were actually working to sign him.
It turns out that due to this rumour, journalist Jorge Nicola now shares an update on the future of the Liverpool player.
Just as expected, his first claim is that Firmino is highly unlikely to move to Corinthians, as despite becoming a free agent, he still has a big market in Europe.
Nicola then brings some interesting news, as, according to him, the player already has ‘six heavy offers’ from European clubs for after he leaves Liverpool.
The journalist claims Firmino will show up ‘at a big club from an important league’ next season, given how good the offers for him are.
There are still a few months until the end of the striker’s contract with the Reds, so it will be no surprise to see that number of offers growing.
