Even though we all know the difficulties Barcelona would face to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool this summer, it seems the Camp Nou side remain strong with their wish.
An update on this chase is now brought by Mundo Deportivo, who claim the 27-year-old is very much wanted at the La Liga giants.
It’s said Barcelona have a long list of many interesting players, and even though Diaz is not the most talked about, there’s a ‘plan’ to get him signed him from Liverpool this summer.
Mundo Deportivo acknowledges that the Catalan side need to wait and see if the financial fair play will allow the club to move, but it’s said they’re expecting some sales and investments that could make that signing possible.
Diaz’s ups and downs at Liverpool, alongside Jurgen Klopp’s departure, are mentioned as some reasons why he could leave Anfield in the summer. The player’s father recently made it public that the player would like to play for the Catalan side, so that pushes in favour of the operation as well.
Mundo Deportivo also say Diaz is ready to ‘fight’ for the move and make his Barcelona dream come true. The La Liga club just need the money first, and are then expected to try to make it happen.
