Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson remains on Juventus’ radar and the Italian club are still pushing for a deal.
Sport Witness have covered how Luciano Spalletti is keen on a reunion with the Brazilian. The two shared the dressing room during their spell at AS Roma and Juve are now desperate to sign a new goalkeeper.
Alisson is seen as someone who will offer the Old Lady a leap of quality in that position. Michele Di Gregorio has struggled this season and is likely on his way out. There is also major uncertainties about Mattia Perin, even if he filled in for Di Gregorio in a commendable way.
Optimism is growing in Italy that Juve will end up with the Liverpool player at some point.
Alisson ready for final farewell
Gazzetta dello Sport are sure that failure to qualify for the Champions League will not ruin Juve’s chances of signing Alisson. The player would be keen on a move and feels his time at Anfield is approaching the end.
The newspaper are confident the keeper will bid farewell to Liverpool during their game against Brentford at the weekend.
He is now preparing for ‘one last dance’ of his career and sees Juve as the ideal destination for that. There is a draft agreement over personal terms with the Bianconeri too, with the two clubs yet to negotiate a deal.
But Juve feel Alisson can ask the Reds for a transfer. This will reduce the Anfield club’s asking price and help the Italian giants’ seal a favourable deal.
Liverpool demands will be key

As things stand, Juve’s entire package to sign the 33-year-old will be costly. That would include agent commissions, as Alisson’s entourage is clearly at work to bring the two clubs together.
That is why Liverpool may have to give a significant discount to sell Alisson. That would only happen if the player forces a transfer.
Even if the Italian media are constantly optimistic, this deal is unlikely to be easy. The Reds aren’t known to be easy sellers and always demand high amounts to sell their best players.
This will be a massive challenge to overcome for Juve.
