The future of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen remains the centre of debate in Italy, amidst supposed interest from clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
The Nigerian, who is set to return to Napoli following his loan spell at Galatasaray, rejected an approach from Al Hilal some weeks ago despite being offered an even bigger salary than he’s on already.
No other viable solutions have emerged for the striker yet and Corriere dello Sport cover what is increasingly a messy situation. They claim Al Hilal’s offer is still on the table and even if the Saudi club are confident, the player is keen on staying in Europe.
The Italian newspaper states there’s interest from Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool and Galatasaray are still making their own efforts to bring Osimhen back to Istanbul.
Osimhen has a dream of playing in the Premier League but Manchester United, Chelsea or Liverpool ‘won’t do crazy things’ to sign him. They’ll only move forward ‘on their own terms’, and wouldn’t be matching his wages.
Osimhen is enjoying his holidays right now and knows that he has several options on the table.
