Liverpool’s Stefan Bajčetić has often impressed for the club when he’s featured for the first team but it doesn’t seem as if there is a pathway into the side for him this season.
He played 11 times in the Premier League in the 2022/23 season for Liverpool, featuring once last season, with additional games in other competitions.
Following the reduced game time, he’s not set to continue elsewhere.
Barcelona tried to sign him yesterday but their attempts for the young midfielder have failed, with Marc Bernal having picked up a serious ACL injury.
The outlet state that the player is already ‘on the plane’ to Salzburg to sign his contract with the club. Barcelona’s failed attempt was a loan move and elsewhere it has been suggested that Salzburg too will also him on a temporary deal.
In a ‘brief’ amount of time, the Spaniard’s move to Austria should be concluded, and he’ll be hoping it aids his development.
