Pushed to one side by Sam Allardyce, Steve Mandanda doesn’t look like he has much of a future at Crystal Palace.

The main story surrounding the France international is that a summer return to his former club Marseille appears to be the likeliest outcome, yet Téléfoot on Sunday believe another club are after the 32-year-old.

The French TV show reported that Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool would be prepared to bring Mandanda to Anfield in the summer in order to provide competition for Simon Mignolet.

This is now the second French goalkeeper the Reds have been linked with in recent months, as Saint-Etienne’s Stéphane Ruffier was claimed to also be a target by Yahoo! Sport journalist Manu Lonjon.

As things stand, other than rumours emerging from France, there has been little to suggest Crystal Palace would be eager to see their star summer signing leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season.

Sam Allardyce made it clear there was a healthy competition for the number one spot in his team over the weekend, and that Mandanda would have to fight for it if he wanted it, but that doesn’t mean he wants to sell him.

Furthermore, with two-years left on his contract, expect the Eagles to ask teams like Liverpool for a generous sum of money for their goalkeeper.
