It appears that quite a few clubs are lining up to try and sign Malcom from Zenit St Petersburg, with Liverpool being one of them.
That’s according to Foot Mercato on Monday, who recall how the Brazilian winger was relatively close to a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the past, and hopes they could come back for him.
However, they aren’t the only side interested, with clubs in Saudi Arabia eyeing him up, as well as Liverpool.
It’s said the Reds, who are revamping their squad this summer, ‘appreciate his profile’, and that certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed down the player’s end.
Malcom sees interest from other teams, like Liverpool ‘with a good eye’, and could certainly be open to a move to Anfield should it present itself.
There has been no official move from Jürgen Klopp’s side just yet, or at least none that Foot Mercato are aware of, but the Reds are interested in the 26-year-old and clearly keeping an eye on the situation surrounding a player who clearly has thoughts of a transfer away from Russia this summer.
