Alex Telles rumours rumble on in the Portuguese media, and Liverpool remain right in there.
It’s A Bola pushing things on Sunday and Liverpool are once again involved.
FC Porto don’t want to sell Telles, because they’ve already seen two fullbacks leave the club this summer. Ricardo Pereira went to Leicester City and then Diogo Dalot moved to Manchester United.
If any club makes an attempt for Telles this summer, A Bola reports they’ll have to match his €40m release clause to complete a deal.
That figure hasn’t scared everyone off, and its’s claimed Liverpool are ‘very interested’ and ‘tempted’ to pay the €40m. Jurgen Klopp is described as being a big fan of the Brazilian and it’s that which is driving interest from Liverpool.
Telles is a 25 year old left back who can also pay further forward. He has a contract with Porto until June 2021 and isn’t pushing to leave the club.
