A couple of days ago, Swedish media reported Liverpool’s interest in young striker Alexander Isak, who is one of the players to be dubbed the next ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’.
The 17-year-old has scored 7 goals so far this season in 19 appearances, and AIK Solna’s director of sports, Bjorn Wesström, admitted he could leave for a club record transfer fee.
The likes of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were also said to be interested in Isak, and now reports in the Italian media have obviously also reported Juventus’ interest in the 17-year-old.
According to Italian website Calciomercato, Isak has grabbed the attention of Liverpool, but Juventus are also keen on signing him.
It’s reported Juventus could try to sign him in January in partnership with Serie A side Cagliari.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool are genuinely keen on signing Isak at the moment, or would wait for him to develop further at another club before making their move.
