On Tuesday, El Chiringuito reported Liverpool’s first bid for Giorgi Mamardashvili has been turned down by Valencia.
Marca now claim the Reds have made not one but two formal offers for the goalkeeper so far and they have both been rejected by the La Liga side.
There’s no mention of the fee offered by Liverpool, but the report says their offers are still far away from the €40m fee requested by Los Ches.
Valencia’s decision to reject two offers hasn’t put off Arne Slot’s side as the report claims they are preparing a third bid for the 23-year-old. In the last few hours, the Merseyside club have intensified their efforts to agree a deal with the Spanish club.
Marca say ‘it’s all or nothing’ for Liverpool and they don’t want this case to drag on. They add Valencia ‘blindly believe in their own idea’, meaning they are still hoping to collect €40m for the stopper.
Liverpool won’t meet their request, and their idea is to try and convince Valencia to accept their offer. It remains to be seen whether they’ll be successful.
Earlier today, Cadena Ser stated Liverpool have offered a long-term deal to Mamardashvili and he’s keen to join them.
