Liverpool are one of the clubs ‘interested’ in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Jesper Lindstrøm, as per Tipsbladet.

The attacking midfielder has impressed since he joined the Bundesliga side from Brøndby in 2021. He has managed eight goals and two assists from 22 matches in all competitions this season.

Lindstrøm’s displays have caught Liverpool’s attention and they have ‘enquired’ about the 22-year-old, as the Reds have put out a feeler to know the conditions for the possible transfer.

The Merseyside club are not alone as the Denmark international is attracting interest from Napoli. The report, however, makes it clear there are currently no negotiations with the two clubs for a potential deal.

Lindstrøm has a contract until 2026 and therefore, Eintracht Frankfurt are expected to ‘demand a good amount of money’ to sanction his sale, and if it were down to the player, he would pick Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Liverpool would be delighted to know the Dane earlier told TV2’s program, Førstevælger, about his desire to play in the Premier League and also his admiration towards the Reds.

“I’ve always said that I’m a Liverpool fan, so it could be really cool to play for Liverpool at some point,” Lindstrøm said.
