Former Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt has told the Dutch media he’s ready for Manchester United, with his current club Feyenoord meeting the Premier League side this week in the Europa League. The Dutch side have been impressive form this season, and will go into Thursdays game full of confidence
Speaking to AD, Kuyt was asked about his preparation ahead of the clash with Manchester United. The Dutchman said at the moment he’s feeling good within himself, so is now prepared for the game with Manchester United, and also the top of the table clash with PSV this weekend. Kuyt believes his side is in good shape going into the game with Manchester United, and expects it to be a classic.
“I feel good. I feel ready for Manchester United and hopefully for PSV. We’ll see. We’re in a wonderful situation. Fifteen points from five games and now this cracker. Almost everyone fit. Let it be a beautiful night,” said the Feyenoord.
Manchester United’s tie with Feyenoord this week is the first time the club has played in the group stages of the Europa League. The English side will be confident going through to the knockout stage, but will find it tough against Feyenoord, and also Fenerbahçe.
