After what had been a promising start under Antonio Conte in his first season at Tottenham, everything fell apart catastrophically last season for the Italian, who left the club, leaving his club in an unwanted limbo.

Christian Stellini took over, with little success, forcing Ryan Mason to finish the season as manager, before Ange Postecoglou was appointed over the summer as the long-term successor.

Everything has improved drastically since the former Celtic manager got the job, with Tottenham enjoying a very good start to the season despite the big sale of key player Harry Kane, and according to Yves Bissouma, speaking to Gaffer, it’s all down to the new boss.

The midfielder has been an integral part of Postecoglou’s plans at Spurs, and he is repaying that by trying to bring a great atmosphere in the dressing room and on the pitch, which is what the manager wants.

He said: “We’re more like a family, you know. That’s the gaffer, that’s what he showed us he wants. He wants us to be a family. So that’s what we’re trying to do. Every one of us is very close.

“And me, I’m always in a good mood, so when I’m in the changing room, I’m trying to show everyone love, and make people dance, and help them relax, you know. Because you don’t know what they have and what they do at home. I try to treat my teammates like my brothers.”

Tottenham managed to put an end to an unwanted series of losses in the Premier League on Sunday, as they battled back to draw 3-3 against Manchester City; a game which Bissouma started and played 87 minutes in.
