French newspaper L’Equipe on Friday have an update on the future of Marseille star Georges Kevin N’Koudou. The young French footballer has been waiting for Tottenham and Marseille to agree a transfer, but it’s certainly been dragging on.
It’s been almost a month, but N’Koudou is still hopeful of an agreement, reports L’Equipe. Earlier, there were reports claiming Tottenham have backed out of a permanent deal, and instead want to sign the player on loan.
A transfer fee of €13m was agreed, but that could be the amount Tottenham would have to pay should they want to make the deal permanent. However, nothing seems to be clear and it’s really difficult to make any claims because there hasn’t been any useful update in the past few days.
The 21-year-old has been hopeful for some time, but his hope hasn’t got him anywhere so far, other than to a hotel in London.
As for Clinton N’Jie, yes, L’Equipe say there’s still hope on that one from Marseille’s end. The French club are working through several potential transfer situations.
It’s now August 19th, there’s just days left in the transfer window, hope is going to have to turn into something rather more concrete.
