According to reports in Sweden and France, Metz have tabled a bid for OFK forward Saman Ghoddos.
The Swede has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers in recent weeks after they put in a bid for the 23 year old.
Fotboll Direkt have reported on the latest developments over the future of Ghoddos after claims from SFR Sport that Metz are in the race to sign the player. Fotboll Direkt report Metz have made an offer in the region of €2m, which is same bid QPR made to OFK earlier this month.
However, OFK are not under pressure to sell Ghoddos after they qualified for the Europa League group stages, and the Swedish side are holding out for €3m.
We recently covered reports from Sweden that QPR have tabled an offer of £1.9m for Ghoddos, which was rejected by OFK.
QPR were given encouragement by OFK, after they said they would have consider selling the forward if the offer was good for the player and his club.
Both QPR and Metz will now have act to quickly to sign the attacker with the deadline approaching.
