Tottenham are very keen on signing Dutch international Vincent Janssen, and the latest reports suggest they’ve submitted multiple offers for the 21-year-old.

Tottenham had a bid of €10m plus €2.5m in bonuses and another of €12.5m plus €2.5m in bonuses rejected by AZ’s technical director, Max Huiberts.

Today, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf report Tottenham made another bid of €14m to be paid in instalments over three years, but AZ want €20m for Janssen.

Meanwhile, Max Huiberts has told the Dutch media that he’s had calls from several clubs for the player, but they’re not coming forward with concrete attempts… or at leastw hat he considers to be concrete attempts.

“The difference between the offer and asking price is big. I hear a lot of rumours and also had calls from other clubs, but there is no one else who is concrete with their interest.”

It is reported Tottenham have already agreed to pay Janssen wages worth €3m a year, but face competition from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Daniel Levy will be ready to lock horns with Huiberts, who himself sounds ready for something of a battle.
