A huge part of Ajax’s glorious Champions League and Eredivisie campaigns last season, Noussair Mazraoui’s appearances this term have been a bit more sporadic under Erik ten Hag.

On the bench for the 4-0 over Feyenoord at the weekend, saw 18-year-old Sergiño Dest start in his stead, and a few rumours have started to appear about his future.

AS Roma Live in Italy are the ones pushing a few names, including Roma, as interested parties, claiming Leicester City and Tottenham are ‘monitoring his situation’.

Valencia are in the mix too, but when it comes to a need at right-back, few are as desperate as Mauricio Pochettino’s side these days.

Serge Aurier is struggling to make the starting spot his own, and so has Kyle Walker-Peters, while makeshift uses of Juan Foyth and Davinson Sánchez haven’t exactly proved to be particularly great either.

As for Leicester City, they are covered there for the time being, owning Ricardo Pereira and spending £6m on James Justin in the summer, but should the coveted Portuguese be sold to the highest bidder in the foreseeable future, a need would arise.

Just something to keep in mind, as Mazraoui’s situation is raising a couple of eyebrows around Europe, especially after such a good year during the last campaign, and an opportunity could open up for a club willing to gamble on the 21-year-old if things don’t improve for him going forward.
