Leicester City have become the latest club to show interest in Juventus’ Matias Soulé, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The winger will return to the Serie A side after an ‘excellent season’ on loan at Frosinone, who were relegated from the top flight. He managed 11 goals and three assists from 36 league games.
This has seen the 21-year-old attract interest from several clubs and Leicester are added to the list. His deal lasts until 2026, but the journalist says Soulé is expected to leave Juve this summer.
The Foxes, who have returned to the Premier League, are looking to bolster their attack with the Argentina U21 international. Di Marzio claims they are ‘ready to invest’ €25m to secure his services.
This won’t be enough for Leicester to sign Soulé because the Old Lady value him higher than what Steve Cooper’s side are willing to offer. Therefore, there’s been no negotiations between the two clubs so far.
Di Marzio hasn’t mentioned the fee needed to convince Juve. On June 23rd, Gazzetta dello Sport stated the South American can leave the Turin club for €35m.
