Leicester City are ‘ready to attack’ for Lorient winger Dango Ouattara as they look to strengthen their squad this month.
That’s according to journalist Mohamed Toubache-Ter, who says the Foxes could ‘draw up’ a deal worth around €20m for the right-winger.
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to strengthen his squad in this window and reports have made it clear that he has been promised funds by his bosses to do so.
Those same reports have stated he is hoping to sign at least one winger before the end of the month, and they have been linked to several for weeks.
One of those on their radar is Jeremie Boga, who they were keen on in the summer transfer window, and it seems Ouattara can now be added to the list.
Toubache-Ter reports that they are ‘ready to attack’ for the 20-year-old Burkina Faso international, who has five goals and five assists in 16 games in Ligue 1 for Lorient this season.
They are ready to pay for his signature too, and ‘could draw up to €20m’ to convince the French side into a sale.
Whether that is enough isn’t mentioned but it would represent a significant sale for the club and major profit on Ouattara, who joined Lorient B from SC Majestic in July 2020 and moved up to the first team in July last year.
He’s managed six goals and seven assists in 42 games in all competitions since, a tally that has apparently piqued Leicester City’s interest.
