With Udinese preparing to lose Beto this summer, the Serie A side are looking for a replacement, and they might have found one at Leicester City.
Fresh from their relegation, the Foxes will want to unburden their squad a bit this summer from players not willing to play in the Championship.
Among those could be Patson Daka, who didn’t have the best season of his career, and who has caught the eye of Udinese, according to Mondo Udinese.
The Zambian footballer has been ‘put under observation’, and considering his situation, a sale could be ‘one step away’.
They explain it’s now up to the Udinese management to ‘find an agreement’ for a player who would ‘undoubtedly be the perfect replacement’ for Beto due to his ‘physical’ ability, as well as being able to use space behind the defence to his advantage.
Either way, they state he is currently worth €20m, although that appears to have been taken straight off Transfermarkt, so perhaps there is room to negotiate that figure for the Leicester man, who scored just four goals in 30 Premier League appearances under Brendan Rodgers and Dean Smith.
