According to Turkish newspaper Gunes, Besiktas are interested in signing Leicester City midfielder Adrien Silva.
The Portuguese midfielder has also linked with a move to French club Monaco but the outlet say he has emerged as a surprise target for the Turkish club.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in London to hold some transfer talks and the Black Eagles have also linked with a move to Wolverhampton’s Romain Saïss.
It seems very likely that Besiktas will sign a new midfielder before the Turkish transfer window closes and Gunes claim this man could be Adrien Silva.
It’s reported that Besiktas have submitted a loan offer with an option to buy to Leicester for the 30-year-old as they are hopeful of completing a deal.
Joining from Sporting with high expectations, it’s safe to say that his Leicester City career hasn’t gone according to plan.
After a loan spell at Monaco during the second half of last season, it seems the player will likely to spend another campaign away from the King Power Stadium.
