Premier League clubs may be unable to sign any players until January now, but that doesn’t mean they cannot continue to ship them out.
With the transfer window still open around Europe, English clubs are looking to take advantage and ship out some of their deadwood.
Leicester City have already taken advantage of that, this week sending Andy King to Rangers, and it seems they may have to decide about Daniel Amartey’s future as well.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the Foxes midfielder is currently on Club Brugge’s list of potential signings this summer.
The Belgian side are on the hunt for a new defensive midfielder after selling Marvelous Nakamba to Aston Villa, and Amartey is one they are looking at.
There is no mention of contact with Leicester about the midfielder, whether the Foxes would be willing to sell or if he’s interested, just that he’s on their list of targets.
However, given they have Wilfred Ndidi, Nampalys Mendy and Hamza Choudhury for defensive midfield, never mind several options in central midfield, there’s every chance Leicester would be open to a sale.
