Juventus signed Stefano Sturaro from Genoa in 2014 and sent him on loan to his former club for one season.

Since returning to the Turin club, the 25-year-old has failed to hold on to his place in the first team under Massimiliano Allegri.

The versatile midfielder started seven Serie A games last season, taking his overall playing time to 614 minutes in 12 appearances in the league. He was restricted to just 235 minutes in the Champions League over five matches.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sturaro is now a transfer target for Leicester City. The Italian international’s contract at the Allianz Stadium will run down in 2021.

The Premier League club are said to have offered €13m to Juventus for their player.

Leicester’s offer does not come lose to what the Old Lady want to sanction Sturaro’s sale. The report claims Juventus are demanding €20m and the two clubs could engage in negotiations to see if an agreement can be reached in the coming days.
