Dennis Praet returned to Leicester City after spending the last campaign on loan at Torino.
In order to retain the 28-year-old, the Serie A side negotiated with the Foxes towards the end of the summer transfer window, but they weren’t successful.
Alfredo Pedullà highlights this and adds that talks between Torino and Leicester for Praet ‘would be resumed’ in the winter market.
It’s claimed the Belgium international has always been the ‘absolute priority’ for the Turin club’s manager, Ivan Jurić. His signing would be of more importance if Saša Lukić, who does not want to renew his contract [until 2024], decides to change clubs in January.

Praet has made just two league starts for Leicester this season and a move away from the Premier League side would allow him to enjoy more game time.
